Privacy notice
Biogen Australia Pty Ltd (‘Biogen’) has appointed IQVIA Solutions Pty Ltd (‘IQVIA’) to act on its behalf and administer the b•yond MS: Injection training program ('program'). This Privacy Notice explains what type of personal data we may collect from you and how we use it when you enrol in the program. Both Biogen and IQVIA take privacy seriously and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained within applicable Australian privacy laws.
Your personal information will be held on a database on a secure server within Australia (maintained by IQVIA, the program Coordinator), except as otherwise described below. Your personal data is retained by IQVIA for at least seven years, or as required by applicable law, after you have ended your participation in the program or after the program has ended, whichever is shortest. After this period, your personal data will be securely destroyed.
You do not have to share your personal information with us, but if you choose not to share your information, we will not be able to provide you with access to the program.
How your personal data is collected and used
For people prescribed PLEGRIDY
Your personal information (information about you that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you) will be collected by IQVIA to enable you to participate in the program. This information includes your full name, date of birth, state, mobile number and email address. General demographic information, such as postcode and hospital/clinic name will be collected as general information for participation in the program.
Your personal information may be disclosed to organisations outside of IQVIA, solely in connection with the provision and administration of the program, including to allow those organisations to provide or assist with any enquiries from you, injection support, information technology services, and to comply with laws on the reporting of adverse events.
Information about you will only be shared with Biogen in ways that cannot identify you as an individual – de-identified information as pooled data for reporting, publication, presentation, research or market research purposes and to comply with laws on the reporting of adverse events.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may be used to help make our website work better and to help us understand which parts of the website are being used. Google Analytics uses technical tools, such as first-party cookies and JavaScript code, to collect information about visitors. Google Analytics tracks visitors to the site who have JavaScript enabled. Google Analytics anonymously tracks how visitors interact with a website, including where they came from and their activity on a site. Google Analytics collects the information set forth above from users.
This information is used to administer and update the website, and we will also assess whether the visitors to the site match the expected site demographics and determine how key audiences are navigating the content.
First-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) will be used to report how your ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to this site.
